I feel often invisible even within my friends, i dont feel much of importance to them :( how can i feel better about this without causing drama with my friends?
Dear Annie,
I’m gonna get straight to the point.
If you feel like you’re not important to people who you think are your friends, you should do one of two things, or both.
a: Talk to them about it. Ask if they value your friendship. Tell them you feel hurt and invisible. Communication is key in good relationships, whether it’s relationships, family or friends.
b: Find new friends. You’re supposed to feel comfortable and loved around your friends, not invisible or unloved.
Whatever you do, don’t change yourself into someone you aren’t to feel included with your peers. Friends should love you for who you are, not for someone you create.
Hope this helps!
